Camera Trapping

I have positioned a camera trap in various areas around central Scotland. The anticipation and revealing what has been caught is always very exciting.

A camera trap triggers by either using an infrared sensor, motion sensor or a light beam.

Camera trapping is a successful, non invasive method used in research for conservation and has been used for decades.
